this parfait is not only refreshing, but it is also like a light dessert. we enjoyed this unexpected treat over the weekend when i happened to have a few extra things in my fridge. i threw this together with some extras that i had on hand from making the fitnessista’s fabulous macaroons!
for one parfait:
1c greek yogurt – i think i’ve mentioned before, but my favorite brand is fage. it’s literally like cream!
1tbs ground almonds
1-2tbs maple syrup
strawberries – you can use any kind of fruit you would like. we actually used fresh blackberries another time…yes, we had these quite a few times over the weekend!
